We're wrapping up the loose ends of a ten year passion project! This is the third to last thing I have to say to you as a professional tarot blogger. This post covers a range of topics to send you off with context and approaches to work safely and creatively with the writings and decks we've shared here.

I've covered my own approaches--no bullshit--to folk esoterica and the fairy faith, addressed my own suspected fae tendencies, and dished comprehensive tips on deep-diving with Othercrowd lore in general, folkloric oracles, and the Black Ink Tarot and Fortune's Inkwell book, specifically.

I might not have sold you witches an undisclosed Othercrowd deck that I’d billed as an understated, minimalist goth deck like a fucking CARTOON VILLAIN! 😂😅 I might just be winging it, cause I enjoy unhinged little performance art charades when I get cabin fever like a fucking cartoon villain. I might even be suggesting that I planted a “possibly-haunted-IDK?” type deck in your house that I DIDN’T because I think it would be FUN to send you on a wild goose chase through the arcane bylaws and ceaseless chores of historic folkloric etiquette for NOTHING… like a fucking cartoon villain...

How To Deal With The Black Ink Tarot Being An Inscrutable Saucy-Brat

Welp, here’s one for the paranormal conspiracy theorists. Aaaand this is awkward….

I’ve been receiving some highly entertaining feedback from the community of people working with the Black Ink Tarot deck. Some have had a rather challenging time getting this deck to make sense ever, exempting its favorite forms of expression to date: poignant shadow-work, saucy riddles, and deathy death jokes....

Here's the scoop and what to do about it.

It's the end of an era here at Interrobang Tarot, and time to wrap up this adventure. This post tells the story behind the last ten years here, and why I did this, despite what it cost.

Sadly, my platform got irreparably harmed by the algorithm suppression that buried queer content makers and visual artists, as our portfolios were stolen to train AI. In the post-AI landscape, this work is no longer viable.

I need to start over with new projects, and I've got some exciting ones lined up! But tarot has lost its place in the rotation after the behaviors and chronic artist exploitation I've witnessed in this community over the years.

I deeply appreciate those of you who supported this work over the years and received it respectfully!

I'll continue to sell my completed works in tarot but won't be making new ones. I hope you'll enjoy the next act to come!
