Short and sweet post for you tonight! It's spreads day on Patreon, and this month's topics generated a bonus spread to share here. We're riffing on themes from the #OccultTea conversation. It's one thing to gather thoughts for a public conversation, and quite another to grapple with these topics in our daily lives as they arise to hazard us.
So here's a simple and handy tarot spread for airing out your FOMO. Sometimes FOMO can be super motivating and inspiring, and connect us to our desires. Other times it suuuucks and just makes us feel bad about not doing stuff we might not even want to do. This spread gives us a little structure to hone the wisdom to know the difference. Check it out:

The FOMO Tarot Spread
for catching the wave and having the fun while stressing less of the stress
1. HARK: Where should I listen to FOMO? What does it have to tell me?
2. JUMP: Something to jump on. What I’d most regret missing.
3. MISS: Something to appreciate but not prioritize. What I don’t mind missing.
4. PASS: What to tune out or reject. Where to embrace that something isn’t for me.
No one has time to do all the everything, so a little introspecting here can help clarify priorities.
This one does what it says on the box, so it doesn't need much for notes, but do feel free to drop any notes or questions you'd like to share in the comments.

Fortune's Inkwell Book Release
In other happy news, my tarot book is out and ready to order! Find it on Amazon or Ingram.
I'm so proud of how my baby turned out. This thing took years to write, went way out of my comfort zone, and ended up being the heart and soul of the first two tarot decks. It delves much deeper than we're able to on the blogs. Check out a look-inside preview here on the blog.
I really hope you enjoy the tome! If you do, leaving a brief review on Amazon, and/or sharing on social media is an invaluable way to help support the work. My own social media presence is a bit of a ghost town between taking breaks to get long projects done, and posting too much about Gaza, queer rights, and pandemic/disability stuff. So word of mouth helps ridiculously much!
This is the tarot book I wished I had starting out when I was thirteen, and it's also the tarot book I want on my nightstand now, over twenty years in. May it find its people and serve you well.
