The Fool’s Tarot Spread

4/1/2019

Happy Fools Day, my loves!

Looking for a better way to celebrate than mean tricks and fake news?
How about a new tarot spread!

Picture
THE FOOL
1. We’ll start with a foolish question.
Tell me something I don’t know about my deepest soul.

2. How can I release what I do know no longer serves,
so that I might go lightly through this world?

THE SKY
3. What charges my battery?
4. How best to receive charge?

THE CLOVER
5. From where does my luck flow?
6. How best to enhance luck?

THE ROSE
7. How does love find me?
8. How best to transmit love?

THE DOG
9. What does my intuition need me to know now?
10. How can I feed my intuition, the better to hear it?

THE CLIFF
11. Where lies danger?
12. How best to avoid it?

THE CROSSROADS
13. Where am I coming from?
14. Where am I headed?

Notes:

I really enjoyed my practice reading with this one. It called me on my nonsense, but gently, and with a side of good news. If you want to dig deep, but keep a light and airy mood about you, this might be the spread for you.

I see this being a strong contender for general readings, perhaps a Celtic Cross alternative, and particularly useful at the start of new adventures.

The card pairings are shown as crosses in this diagram because of space. You can lay them out in a row in practice.

It’s a long one! If you don’t have the time or mind for a full reading, you can pick a few pairings to look at, and save the rest for later. Which of The Fool’s companions do you need to hear from? If nothing else, reading just the Fool and the Crossroads pairs should give you plenty to chew on!

Commercial Use of Tarot Spreads:

I aim first and foremost to helping people learn and use tarot for themselves. Everything I post is free to use at home or share with friends for personal, educational, non-commercial ends. Sharing is wonderful, and I do appreciate your support!

Hi Evvie,

I love the way that this spread has been laid out along with your descriptions and what each card is related to. I am also impressed by your artwork and will be having a good look through to see if I might purchase a deck from you.

Beautiful work
